A fine art portrait experience for the woman who is still becoming.

For the woman who has spent years showing up for everyone else and is ready to be photographed with beauty, confidence and intention.

Step Into the Frame

Still Her is a special passion project celebrating women who are ready to step into the frame and be photographed in a way that feels elegant, powerful and deeply personal.

These modern, editorial-inspired portraits will be created in timeless black and white and designed as finished artwork for your home and the people who love you.

This project is being created in connection with an opportunity to be showcased in a National Art Gallery Show this fall. I’m beginning with a small group of women and creating a body of work that celebrates beauty, confidence, presence and the woman you are today.

One portrait from the project will be selected for submission, but every woman who participates will have the opportunity to create meaningful finished artwork for herself and her family.

A.k.a the Ulti-mutt Champion of Whitewright.

The winner will then go on to the National Worldwide Pooch Playoffs competition.

Along the way, we’re also raising money for , a local organization helping animals in our community.

This experience may be for you if...

  • You are ready to be photographed in a way that feels beautiful, refined and true to who you are now.

  • You have plenty of portraits of the people you love, but very few of yourself.

  • You want portraits that feel modern, elegant and intentional, not stiff or ordinary.

  • You are drawn to timeless black and white artwork.

  • You want to be guided through the entire process, from wardrobe to posing to choosing finished artwork.

  • You would love to create something meaningful for yourself, your home and the people who love you.

  • You may be nervous in front of the camera, but you are open to being cared for and guided.

What to expect

This is a personal, guided portrait experience. You do not need to know how to pose, what to wear or how to “be good” in front of the camera. I will guide you through every step.

  • A quick conversation to see if the project is the right fit

  • A personal planning appointment before your portrait session

  • Wardrobe and styling guidance

  • A fine art portrait session using studio style lighting

  • In-home portrait options when appropriate

  • A private studio style option for women who prefer not to be photographed at home

  • A viewing and ordering appointment where you will choose your finished artwork

  • A surprise 5x5 acrylic portrait as a thank you for participating

How it works

Image

Schedule a quick conversation

We’ll talk briefly so I can hear what drew you to Still Her and share how the project works.

Image

Plan your portrait experience

If it feels like the right fit, we’ll schedule a personal planning appointment to talk through wardrobe, artwork, location and what you would love to create.

Image

Create your portraits

Your portrait session will be guided from beginning to end with studio style lighting and a modern fine art feel.

Choose your artwork

Within about two weeks of your session, we’ll meet for your viewing and ordering appointment where I’ll help you choose your finished artwork.

No payment is collected when you click the button.

This is the first step in the conversation, not a commitment to participate.

It simply lets me know you’d like to explore "Still Her", and I’ll personally follow up.

A Small, Intentional Group

I’m selecting just 7 women for Still Her so each portrait experience can be planned, photographed and completed with care.

Because this project is connected to an opportunity for a National Art Gallery Show this fall, timing matters. Once we decide this is a beautiful fit, your planning appointment will take place within 7 days, your portrait session within 2 weeks of planning and your viewing and ordering appointment within 2 weeks of your session.

The next step is a quick conversation so I can hear what drew you to the project and share the heart behind it.

Once these 7 spaces are spoken for, availability for this project will close.

Why Suad Photography?

Several pet families have trusted us with their pet portraits. Take a look:

We’re experienced at working with shy, wiggly, high-energy and older pets.

We’ll guide you on how to prepare and what to bring so your pet feels safe and comfortable.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. I will guide you through posing, expression and movement so you feel comfortable and cared for.

Do I need professional hair and makeup?

Hair and makeup are not included in this first version, but I will give you guidance so you feel polished and prepared.

Where will the session take place?

Still Her sessions are created in your home so the experience feels comfortable, personal and relaxed. I’ll bring what I need and guide everything.

If home is not the right fit, I’ll offer one private portrait day at a separate location for a limited number of participants.

Will I be featured in the National Art Gallery Show?

One portrait from the project will be selected for submission. The heart of the experience is creating beautiful, meaningful artwork for every woman who participates.

What is the investment?

Still Her begins with a $195 minimum investment, collected at your planning appointment and applied toward any finished artwork you choose. Finished artwork is selected separately at your viewing and ordering appointment.
